Who We Are

Mike Brandi is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Albany Law School with over a decade of experience in government law, the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL), and the Open Meetings Law. Brandi takes pride in advocating for transparency, accountability, and the public’s right to know—particularly at the local level, where engaged citizens play a vital role in holding government accountable.

Brandi has submitted hundreds of FOIL requests across New York State and has unearthed corruption, misuse of public funds, backroom deals, and violations of public trust. His work has led to media investigations, administrative reforms, and increased public scrutiny of government operations—proving that transparency is not just a principle, but a powerful tool for accountability. 

Brandi believes that transparency is not just a legal principle, but a foundational element of a healthy democracy.
